Silverwood Design creates house plans for highly energy efficient homes. Our designs are field tested after construction, are energy star certified, and generally achieve HERS ratings below 50. In most cases a home plan will include a photovoltaic power array, solar hot water systems, and foam blown insulation. Sealed crawl spaces, and basements are always specified. Sealed attics are a standard as well.
